Duck’s Wire Frame Finesse Rig’s
These lures were designed for those clear waters, highland reservoirs, and for the 15 states that only allow three lures or less instead of five lures. I have been working on these lures for more than 2 years. My ideas steamed from some of the antique lures of the past… like the Twin Lizzie that was made by Fred Arbogast back over fifty years ago. There were also twin frog harness rigs and many other double lure combos. Now, unlike these lures, I have designed mine to be able to change the type lures I use and for them to enter the water quietly. Only certain lures will work and that is the secret. However, never quit experimenting and trying different lures on the rig. Because I have found many lures that work but I will do my best to give you my favorites and the ones I have found to work best on each rig. After 2 years I am still finding new ways to rig these lures myself. One of the best things about these rigs is the cost, everyone can afford one and they can be fished with very inexpensive lures attached to them so it doesn’t cost you fifty dollars when you hang one up and lose it and with multiple lures. You are going to get hung up and you will get some of them back but not near as many as when you are just fishing one lure at a time. Another bonus with these rigs is that you can throw them on 6’6 medium action rods and 17lb test line. I use Trilene 100% Pure Fluorocarbon line. Thanks for taking the time to look at my creations and good luck to you and always check your local regulations when using multiple lures. I know according to Bass Times ( my favorite magazine ) that there are at least 15 states that allow only 3 lures and a couple that allow 2 and 1 that only allows one lure.
